What to Do If An Officer Suspects You've Been Drinking

Posted by Sherman Smith | Jun 17, 2020 | 0 Comments

If the officer suspects you've been drinking, reference my last post for more info and keep this in mind:

  • You don't have to answer the officer's questions

  • (NOTE: Try to answer, if you can without saying anything that can be used against you)

  • You don't have to perform any field sobriety tests

  • If you burp or vomit in the 20 minutes before your breath test at the police station, ask for another 20 minute waiting period.
